What is Copra?

Copra is the dried meat, or dried kernel of the coconut used to extract coconut oil and used for various food preparations.

Copra is sun dried or dried using special copra dryers and is available in the following forms,

1. Edible Copra: Perfectly cut half dried coconut kernel used for various food preparations.
2. Milling Copra: Uneven pieces of dried pieces of coconuts are used for extraction of coconut oil.
3. Ball Copra: Natural Process of drying the nuts under shade for 9 to 10 Months.

The ball copra produced at YMS Enterprises is unique and distinct in its own way as it is formed naturally by storing matured coconuts with husk for 9 to 10 months for natural desiccation. This is used in house hold preparations, Indian traditional poojas/dhans, gifts, extraction of oil, etc. Ambajipeta ball copra is golden brown in color and sweet in taste. It is hygienically processed, natural and fresh.
